Privacy notice
This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit carloducartis.com or write to me. The site is deliberately minimal, and so is the data it involves.
Controller
The controller of personal data processed through this website is Carlo Dorian Ducartis, a natural person based in Poland.

Scope
carloducartis.com is a static founder website. It does not use analytics, advertising trackers, profiling, newsletter tracking or contact forms, and it loads no third-party scripts or fonts. No decisions are made about you by automated means.
The site links to my profiles on Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, GitHub and TikTok. Those services are operated by third parties; if you follow a link, their own privacy policies apply.
Server and hosting data
When you visit the site, your browser sends technical information that the hosting infrastructure necessarily processes and may record in server logs. This may include:
- your IP address;
- the date and time of the request;
- the requested URL or resource;
- browser and user-agent information;
- the referring page, where your browser supplies it;
- the HTTP response and status information.
This data is used to operate the website, keep it secure, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems. It is not used for profiling or marketing.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interests in operating and securing the website.
Retention: technical data is kept only for as long as necessary for hosting operation, security and troubleshooting, subject also to the hosting provider’s technical retention practices.
Hosting provider and recipients
The website runs on shared web hosting provided by OVHcloud, which processes the technical data described above as the provider of the hosting infrastructure. OVHcloud also provides the email service for carloducartis.com.
Personal data is not sold, and it is not shared with other recipients for their own purposes unless the law requires it.
Email contact
If you write to hello@carloducartis.com, I process your email address, the content of your message and any other information you choose to include, only as needed to read and reply to your message and to maintain the correspondence that follows from it.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact me. Where a message concerns possible future contractual cooperation, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may also apply.
Retention: messages are kept only for as long as the correspondence and any follow-up it reasonably requires make necessary.
Cookies
In its current version, the site sets no cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, so it does not show a cookie-consent banner. Its only script updates the year shown in the footer and stores nothing in your browser.
If this changes, this notice will be updated first.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, and to the extent the relevant conditions apply, you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- have inaccurate data rectified;
- have your data erased;
- restrict processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- data portability, where applicable.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO). You may also contact the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

This notice may be updated if the site’s functionality or data-processing practices change. The date at the top shows the current version.
